Not far from grand cru Bonnes Mares, “Sentiers” is always a deeper, more black-fruited cru, with ribbons of dark chocolate dust and sexy black cherries in its aromas. Very pleasurable and sultry in 2008, still with wonderful lift and edge. Rose petals, orange zest and black pepper are all present in a snappy, complex and very Pinot finish.
