Very rare! This special, smaller vineyard plot within premier cru "Fourchaume" always delivers grand cru quality; the depth and concentration here is stunning. A bit more sun (this section is better exposed) means a more luscious, yet still precise, Chablis—more honeyed notes mix with metal shavings and chalk dust on the nose and mouth. What always strikes us about this cru is that underneath what seems like endless layers of flesh a quicksilver vein of energy pulses throughout. A great wine for the cellar.
