A classic and supple blend of 90% Sangiovese and 10% Canaiolo. The texture -- pure silk and weighty fruit -- is outstanding. Sour cherries mix with a rare steak-tang and a full mouthful of black/red fruits. Sweet, ripe and broad swaths of fruit and earthy, herbal notes -- a food wine through and through, what every Tuscan demands at a serious table. Medium-bodied yet full-flavored, very long and spicy on the finish.
