For us this pure combination of Sangiovese and Canaiolo -- the true expression of Chianti -- couldn't be more satisfying. Sour cherries mix with copper shavings and a full mouthful of cherry fruit on the palate; great texture. Every sip is harmonious and graceful; lovely now but will be great in the cellar, too. A blend of 90% Sangiovese and 10% Canaiolo, aged for 18 months in the estate’s ancient large casks.
