“Reculerons” takes it up a notch in concentration and weight; this is Montagny with a more pronounced Meursault character, but with a stony middle and plenty of edge. This south-facing vineyard sits in a natural amphitheater, which keeps vines cozy and gives a wine with more curves, more seductive aromas. Suggestions of candied lemons, cooked white fruits and herbs on the nose; the mouth is very juicy, with yellow and white fruits, hints of mango and sweet/tart pineapple, and lots of citrus energy.

Côte Chalonnaise-Burgundy
“Bassets” is white Burgundy in a cooler, more chiseled style; this vineyard’s mineral terroir contributes a stony finish and flavors that are more delineated and energetic. Aromas suggest pear skin, white fruits and wildflowers; the mouth is medium-bodied and very fresh, lots of citrus and fresh white fruits.
