Alvaro’s Isla de Maipo vineyards are a lesson in biodiversity and respect for nature—vines share space with almond trees and native plants, while the alluvial soils are plowed by horse. The wine’s color in the glass reminds of a Valparaiso sunrise, while aromas of small red berries and crushed stones abound, with just a hint of licorice. The mouth is juicy and full, with strawberries and raspberry flavors. Dry, crisp and lacy on the palate. A rosé de pressurage; 100% Syrah.
