This is a one-two punch of Sangiovese purity—a strict selection of vineyards and grapes go into the estate Riserva, of which only 6,000 bottles are made. Aged in a blend of older and new barrique (30 percent new). The nose is smoky, lush and penetrating, with aromas of crushed rocks and blackberry juice; a sultry blend of structured fruit and silky tannins flow through the core of this impressive wine.
