Winemaker Marco Destefanis harvests only the ripest grapes for this luscious, purple-hued Dolcetto, and ages the wine in a blend of older barrique and stainless steel tank. Fresh blackberries, baking spices and a hint of licorice show on the nose, while the mouth delivers wave after wave of rich black cherry and blueberry flavors. Tannins are sweet and supple; the finish lingers with a touch of black pepper. Energetic and very fresh, this Dolcetto is the perfect beginning to any multicourse meal as well as a rewarding finale to any long day. Lush, long and saturated with fresh fruit; and as always, a steal for its very high quality.
