A bouquet of pink roses and violets greets the nose, with notes of smoky licorice—the essence of which Beaujolais exhibits only in the ripest of years. A waterfall of black raspberries and plums cascades over the tongue, with abundant spices of cumin and black pepper. Deliciously deep and velvet-rich, yet perfectly balanced and fresh. Only 112 cases of this cuvée were produced. A bodacious Beaujolais from a landmark vintage!

A sensual, elegant wine with pure aromas and lots of silk on the palate. Aromas remind of cherry blossoms and spring wildflowers over warmed cherry juice, with a hint of baking spices. The mouth is medium-bodied and pure, with good spice and excellent acidic balance; small red berries mix with red plums and pomegranate, juicy and ripe.
