Always a favorite; in 2008 the estate’s “straight” Gigondas got a bit of a boost with the inclusion of declassed fruit from their top cuvee, “Font de Tonin.” A rich, savory and almost meaty blend of very old-vine Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre, aged in older barrel and bottled unfined and unfiltered.
