A seething, sultry volcano wine, straight from Mount Vulture in
Basilicata, southern Italy. Aglianico grows in many areas in the south
but it’s the cooler, high altitude vineyards of Vulture where it really
shines. Beefy, ashy and chewy, this is one inexpensive country red not
lacking in flavor or bravado. Unmistakably Italian, it’s got that
certain “something” that sets it apart from the pack -- and for the
price it is an absolute steal.

Mount Vulture in Basilicata is where Aglianico is transformed into

heart and one that will blow your top once you taste it. We teamed up
with one of southern Italy's savviest winemakers and restaurateurs to
put together a hearty, juicy red wine that's unbeatable in terms of
quality for its class -- such a bottle should honestly cost at least
three times more than what we're offering it at.
