North Berkeley Wine Clubs
North Berkeley Wine Clubs represent our finest wines from France, Italy, Chile and beyond, handpicked for you each month by our expert staff. Becoming a member is like having your own personal wine buyer!

And frankly, you couldn’t pick a more knowledgeable guide to the best wines of the world. Over the past 20 years we’ve built solid relationships with winemakers to bring you only the best. We’ve tasted each wine multiple times, from fresh must under the press to young wine freshly bottled, to ensure each is the purest expression of terroir we can find. Many of these wines are exclusive to North Berkeley Wine; they are unique bottles that with the generous help of the winemaker, we’ve selected to bring you only the best.

Unlike other clubs that are more interested in volume than quality, our clubs have been created with your discerning taste in mind. Our producers, who often grow their own grapes and harvest by hand, craft only a limited quantity of cases each year. Whether you want to learn more about wine, add bottles to your cellar or give a distinctive gift, we have the Club for you!

Each Club shipment contains 3 bottles, usually two red wines and one white wine. (Club Mediterranean is an all red-wine club.) We will also include detailed notes on each wine, with information on regional history, winemaking techniques, pairing suggestions and cellaring recommendations. And as a Club member, if you’d like to buy additional bottles, you’ll receive a special 15% discount!

$50 per shipment: Club Med makes it easy to become an expert while you taste your way through great wine values from the world's top winemakers. This club is an all red-wine club. For example, you'll experience spicy Grenache from the Rhône Valley, Sangiovese from the sun-kissed Tuscan countryside, or bold Cabernet Sauvignon from California's Alexander Valley. Detailed tasting notes will familiarize you with regions, grape varietals and our favorite winemakers.
