It’s such a joy to hear repeated what folks like us have been saying all along — the greatest of ros\u00e9 wines, like those of Chateau de Pibarnon<\/a> in Bandol, are wines of place and character, serious wines that can age, and always the correct pair for fine cuisine!<\/p>\n

The team at the Wine Advocate<\/em> lists the 2022 Chateau de Pibarnon Bandol Ros\u00e9<\/strong>\u00a0as one of their top 5 ros\u00e9s from the vintage — as it should be! This is a bold, complex wine each and every vintage, organically raised and more than age-worthy.<\/p>\n

2022 Pibarnon Bandol Ros\u00e9<\/strong>
The citrusy, mentholated 2022 Bandol Ros\u00e9 was crafted with a blend of 65% Mourv\u00e8dre and 35% Cinsault and matured six months in barrels. It displays aromas of pomegranate, citrus, spring flowers, iodine, jasmine and crushed stones, followed by a beautifully defined texture, a fleshy core of fruit and racy acids that underpin a delicate, well-delineated and calcareous finish. It’s going to drink nicely in its youth, but I suspect it will also age gracefully over the next 2-5 years.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
